In preparation of workplaces opening back up (during the COVID-19 pandemic), Vietnamese sandwich shop Bun Mee tasked Citizen Best on branding their catering services and updating its in-store signage and menu for their grand re-opening.
We positioned the brand to appeal to a full spectrum of eaters, from the culinary adventurer to the couch traveler to the somewhat curious. At its core, we determined Bun Mee was all about making it memorable, being accommodating and, whether in-store or catered, being in the business of creating happy experiences. We art directed a photo shoot to capture their sandwiches and ingredients in fun and mouth-watering ways. We then used the existing brand and its street-inspired artwork as a jumping off point to dial up a playful design and messaging that inspires killer cravings.
